Calling for Mentee Applications for the 2022 Mentorship Program

Getting started with a large open source project and community like Hyperledger can be overwhelming. Our annual mentorship program provides a balanced mix of support and challenge for new developers and contributors seeking entry into the community and hands-on learning opportunity. This year the community has scoped out 30 real projects that you can apply to become a mentee to work closely with dedicated mentors, enhance your technical skills, and learn the infra and culture about how to collaborate and contribute effectively to an open source project and community. Mentees shall expect collaborative project planning, guided contribution, regular evaluation and feedback, and a stipend for the work you deliver while making real contributions to Hyperledger technologies.

    1. I recommend putting this note at the bottom of this week's newsletter since it was at the top of last week's.

    2. Igor Krupczynskiplease remove the last sentence in the above mentorship announcement. Instead add "The program is a great way to help bring in new contributors and to grow the community, so please help us spread the word."

  2. Please add this to the Events section:

Interested in tokenization? Join for a virtual meetup on Thu, April 28 @ 17:00 CET for a discussion about how token classes, like fungible, non-fungible, ERC20, 721 or 1155 tokens can be realized on enterprise ledgers like Hyperledger Fabric & Besu.

  3. Reminder that the CFP closes on April 29th- perhaps share the video as well?

  4. Thank you all for your contributions to the newsletter
