Description

The Learning Materials Development working group reports to the Hyperledger Technical Steering Committee. It is focused on developing open source training material (licensed as specified by the Hyperledger Charter) to educate people interested in expanding their knowledge of Hyperledger and its projects. The working group will consult with other Hyperledger working groups, Hyperledger team members, and the project maintainers to identify training needs and develop strategies, as well as, material to address those needs. The output of this working group will be targeted towards both technical and non-technical audiences

    Hyperledger Global Forum 2021 will take place virtually on June 8-10. The event will offer the opportunity for users and contributors of Hyperledger projects from across the globe to connect, network and collaborate. Registration is now open as well as the call for proposals. Register today and submit a talk by March 12.

    Calling all project maintainers, contributors and active community members who are passionate about teaching, mentoring, and onboarding new contributors to get involved in this year's Hyperledger Mentorship Program. Mentorship project proposals are being accepted between now and March 10.


     Trade Finance Special Interest Group (TF-SIG) team,  special meeting run by by Hyperledger Trade Finance (TF) SIG meeting, next Wednesday 10th February 2021 at 5.00am (UK time),We are going to host a speech by Ms Rebecca Liao, co-founder of Skuchain, and Mr Whitman Knapp, Chairman of GTBInsights LLC who will have a speech focusing on "A Primer on DLPC: A New Financial Asset and Standard for Global Trade".  Please note the time change. It has been adjusted for a period to a more Asia Pacific-friendly time at the request of some of our community based in that region. The agenda will soon be published on our wiki  page.


    Next Tuesday February 9 at 8 AM Pacific, we have a guest presentation at our CA2 SIG call about OS-Climate and Sustainable Finance & Investing.  Truman Semans, Hewson Baltzell and Michael Tiemann from the OS-Climate project will be leading the discussion. I encourage everyone on this list to attend and to also share about this presentation with anyone you think might be interested.  Details https://zoom.us/j/4034983298?pwd=STZQd0xMZU9xRVVOVnpQM3JNQ2dqZz09

    New TSC Working Group Update

    Charter:
    Please see Charter for the full text of the charter.


    The working group may form task forces or subgroups to complete or present a set of training materials for a particular topic or topics. The material developed by the Learning Materials Development Working Group will be open sourced using the licenses specified by the Hyperledger Charter (Apache License, Version 2.0 and Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License). This material will be open for others to use in their training courses and events.
