Goals

  • Grow and nurture developer ecosystem: The purpose of this call is to discuss marketing related initiatives around the Hyperledger projects and community. This is a great opportunity for project maintainers and contributors to learn how they can get involved in many aspects of marketing including overall messaging, events, content, social media, and PR, to further help the public hear about and understand Hyperledger and its community.

Project 

How to


1. Project Webinar - 1h long webinar on major releases and description of new functionality, ideally with demos. (max two/year)
2. Project How-To - 30 min, hands-on demos and how-tos. (max two/year + unlimited offline recordings)

How it works?
First choose option 1 or 2. Each project is limited to two webinars a year, so be sure to save it for major releases. 
Project How-To's are supposed to be virtual demos, or short training sessions. For now they are also limited to two a year, but if you would like to do more: we can arrange for a recording session and promote it in the community. 

Once you know what you'd like to do, find a maintainer that will "sponsor" your webinar (if you are not a maintainer yourself): we want those to be aligned with the rest of the community, so at least one maintainer should sign off on the presentation. If you need help being connected, please let us know and we'd be happy to facilitate. Finally, fill out the form here: https://forms.gle/VUFe6riTNxxkPYyR9.

When and How?
The webinars will take place every first and third Wednesday at 3pm GMT/7am PST. We are using zoom with up to 500 attendees. Afterwards we will place the recording in our webinar library.
