DescriptionThe Learning Materials Development working group reports to the Hyperledger Technical Steering Committee. It is focused on developing open source training material (licensed as specified by the Hyperledger Charter) to educate people interested in expanding their knowledge of Hyperledger and its projects. The working group will consult with other Hyperledger working groups, Hyperledger team members, and the project maintainers to identify training needs and develop strategies, as well as, material to address those needs. The output of this working group will be targeted towards both technical and non-technical audiences

    1.  GeoTech Center's upcoming global forum, AgriTechAction 2020.  https://www.atlanticcouncil.org/event/agritechaction-2020/  
      At this conference, we will look to the future of the agriculture and global food distribution system, envisioning changes that accommodate 21st century challenges including a burgeoning population, a changing climate, and a global economy. This includes emphasizing people-centered approaches to employing data and tech to feed the planet sustainably, with a pragmatic focus on forward-leaning actions, innovations, and feasibility.  From 1:00 - 6:00 p.m. U.S. Eastern Time on November 17-19, we will host conversations with keynote speakers and convene private, invitation-only roundtables for focused discussions. "Nima Afraz, Postdoctoral Researcher at CONNECT Center, Trinity College Dublin, is going to be at next week's Telecom SIG call to talk about how Hyperledger Fabric could facilitate the implementation of a distributed marketplace for 5G network infrastructure sharing which does not rely on a central source of trust.

The working group may form task forces or subgroups to complete or present a set of training materials for a particular topic or topics. The material developed by the Learning Materials Development Working Group will be open sourced using the licenses specified by the Hyperledger Charter (Apache License, Version 2.0 and Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License). This material will be open for others to use in their training courses and events.
