Sam Curren serves as an Agent Architect for the Sovrin Foundation, the largest deployed instance of Hyperledger Indy. Sam has a Masters Degree in Computer Science from Brigham Young University and has been involved in the Identity Community for over 10 years with work and research on personal data, distributed systems, supply chain, digital birth certificates, and Decentralized Identifiers (DIDs). Sam also serves the Decentralized Identity Foundation as a Steering Committee member.

Carol Prest is the Registrar and Executive Director of BC Registries and Online Services within Service BC in the Province of British Columbia, Canada.  Carol is responsible for the Corporate Registry, the Personal Property Registry, the One Stop Business Registry and the BC Online partnership office.  As a strong proponent in service leadership, Carol’s positive approach leads to creativity, innovation and collaboration.  Carol’s passion for improving the business and citizen experience drives her to continually seek opportunities to enhance services through improvements to business processes, rationalizing policy and leveraging technology.  Carol is currently working in collaboration with the OCIO’s office to leverage distributed ledger technology (blockchain) to further improve the service experience for businesses.

John Jordan is an experienced product executive and technology strategist who has over 25 years of experience in both the private and public sectors. His mantra is “Always be Shipping”. John has shipped product in the domains of telecommunications, content management, identity management, and open data. Currently he is co-leading work with the Province of British Columbia’s Corporate Registrar in the area of decentralized identity for businesses. In 2013, he received the Canadian Public Sector Award for Excellence in the Innovation category. John holds a Master’s degree in Applied Science, Management of Technology from the University of Waterloo and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Queen’s University at Kingston.

Stephen Curran of Cloud Compass Computing, Inc. is a Software Development and DevOps veteran who dove full on into the identity on blockchain world in 2017. Working with the British Columbia Government, Stephen has helped define, build and launch the Verifiable Organizations Network (VON) - a production instance of the Linux Foundation's Hyperledger Indy project that makes public information about Organizations (Incorporations, etc.) in BC available in the form of Verifiable Credentials. Stephen is a regular contributor in the Hyperledger Indy community, facilitating discussions and driving interoperability. Stephen has presented on Blockchain and the Hyperledger Indy project at a number of events and is a member of the Sovrin Foundation's Technical Governance Board.

Ian Costanzo of Anon Solutions Inc. is a Solution Architect and fullstack developer with the BC Verifiable Organizations Network project.  Ian has recently focussed on blockchain-based business solutions and is a contributor to the Hyperledger Indy project.  Ian is also a director with Atria Technologies Co-op, an Vancouver organization helping non-profits and community associations leverage technology solutions, and is a technical advisor to the UBC Blockchain group.
