Responsible for writing application
– Responsible for writing smart contract
– Knowledge of blockchain network topology not required
– Does not care how network is configured in detail
– Only needs basic network information: e.g. key IP addresses
– Does not care how Hyperledger Fabric is implemented

Bala,  Blockchain Administrator

–Plans the blockchain network
–Initial setup of a new blockchain network; Joins/leaves existing  blockchain networks
–Responsible for identity management of the blockchain
–Works in own organization & with other Balas in other organizations
–Administers blockchain network, day-to-day
–Understands structure and behaviour of blockchain network
–No application development or smart contract programming skills
–Does not care how Hyperledger Fabric is implemented

–Wants to contribute to the Hyperledger Fabric code base
–Wants to understand how fabric works, technically
–Wants to appreciate how Fabric gets used by other personae
