Description 


The Hyperledger Foundation is looking for a  Developer Marketing mentee to support marketing efforts tied to our developer ecosystem. This mentee will work alongside the Hyperledger Foundation Marketing Manager in support of social media marketing, developer events and Hyperledger Global Forum our annual global conference in September and conduct research on which marketing activities can be leveraged to grow developer engagement. Responsibilities will include conducting market analysis, monitoring social platforms, and preparing promotional materials 

  • Collaborate with the team to perform market analysis and research on the latest trends around developer engagement and marketing 
  • Contribute to the content calendar with social media postings on a weekly basis
  • Monitor analytics with the rest of the team to identify viable ideas, trends, and growth patterns

  • This mentorship will be an opportunity to gain Social media, marketing, and influencer relations experience in a fast-paced, open source global developer environment
  • Working with Hyperledger Foundation Marketing Manager, help develop a modern and edgy developer marketing program

  • A passion for open source developer ecosystems
  • Proficient in relevant social channels, including Twitter, Linkedin and Discord
  • An interest or previous experience in Blockchain
  • Creativity and a love of telling good stories through photos, videos, and written content. Experience with simple image and video editing
  • Excellent multitasking and organizational abilities

Future plans

Programs experimented with and established during this mentorship will be applied to future developer marketing activities

Preferred Hours and Length of Internship

Part-time (20 hours a week for 24 weeks starting in summer and ending in fall)
