Overview

The Aries Connectathon is a three-day architecture and design focused event. Register here

Goal

The purpose of this community coding event is to bring members of the open source identity community together for three days of work and collaboration on Hyperledger Aries compatible codebases with test suites, tools, and direct interoperable interaction. This includes DID Communication, Verifiable Credential Exchange, DID Exchange, and other protocols targeted for wide adoption. Conference time will be primarily workshop related, supported with speakers and discussions on related topics.

Timing

This event will last for three (3) days. The previous identity connectathon event was held in February 2019.

Who Should Attend

It is highly recommended that people with a deep understanding of the technical aspects of the Hyperledger identity projects should attend this event, however all contributors, maintainers, and community participants from any project interested in these topics are welcome to attend, especially those with specific deep technical knowledge to contribute towards the development of Hyperledger Indy, Ursa, and Aries


As noted in the overview, anyone is welcome to join the Aries Connectathon with the understanding that the focus will be advanced technical topics.
