Hyperledger Besu is an Ethereum client designed to be enterprise-friendly for both public and private permissioned network use cases. This Besu Financial Service Working Group (WG) is an effort within the Besu project to bring together both enterprise users and code contributors of Besu to collaborate on defining enterprise-level requirements and features.

As of now, the evolution of Besu has been driven by the direct interactions and engagements of code contributors with enterprises adopting or using Besu for their internal projects. The joint efforts from both sides of the equation through the formation of a Besu Financial Services WG can accelerate this process while maximizing value and fit-for-purpose, benefiting both users and service providers of Besu.
