Get hands on with using Hyperledger Fabric to set up a blockchain network and run an application. We're hosting a free 2-part workshop in March about how to create a simple NFT sample app. The 1st part is for a general audience and the 2nd is technical.

2022 Hyperledger Mentorship Program Calling for Projects and Mentors

Do you have a need for extra help in conducting research or achieving a development milestone? Would you like to give back to the open source community by teaching and guiding budding developers? Do you have a project in mind that's narrowly scoped and suitable to bring in a new contributor to the Hyperledger community and to offer the new contributor a hands-on learning experience? We invite you to get involved in our annual Mentorship Program supported by Hyperledger Foundation by stepping up to be a mentor and submit a mentorship project proposal. This is the 6th year Hyperledger is running this program, and to show our commitment to mentorship we will support up to 30 mentorship projects for 2022. The mentorship project proposal submission deadline is March 9th (complete program timeline here).

    Cardea Interop-a-thon (virtual)

    Thursday, March 17, 2022

    Register Here
Cardea, a project at Linux Foundation Public Health, is a complete open-source ecosystem for sharing privacy-preserving digital health credentials, built following Hyperledger Aries and Hyperledger Indy protocols with schemas for Covid-19 test and vaccine results and travel. After its first successful Interop-a-thon in 2021, we're back with new features to implement and test.

    1. The first is a new out-of-band invitation protocol (a change coming to Hyperledger Aries on March 31) This is a great opportunity for anyone using Hyperledger Aries to get ahead of the change and ensure interoperability.
    2. The second is our first reference implementation for machine readable governance—a way of encoding governance rules at the agent level. Machine readable governance is the key to scaling verifiable credentials—it enables governance to manage complex information flows and function offline!

The Cardea maintainers have stood up a test environment with Issuer, Mobile, Mediator, Government, and Verifier Agents for participants to test against. You don't have to be involved in Cardea or building health credential solutions to participate—all companies using Aries agents are welcome! You can also bring your own Hyperledger Indy based network!
