Hyperledger Fabric

  • Released v2.4.0 that comes with much awaited features such as Fabric Gateway v1.0.0. Gateway is a new service running on peer nodes that manages transaction submission and processing for client applications. The release also comes with lightweight SDKs for Go, Java, Node. The other salient features in the release are to unjoin a peer node from the channel and a command line utility for calculating package ID without installing a chaincode package.

    Could we please repost the content about the Aries and Indy workshop from last week's issue?  Since people were on holiday last week in the US, they may have missed this information when it was sent out in the last issue.

    Could we add a note about the Cyber Monday training deals expiring soon?  Something like: "There are just a few more days to take advantage of the Linux Foundation's biggest training and certification deals of the year.  The Cyber Monday discounts end on Monday, December 6."
