- Conduct exercise to receive input from club members to inform the SIG's goals for 2021
- Robin to lead whiteboarding session with the group to identify:
- Individual level goals - what would you like to accomplish for 2021, what kind of support do you need to accomplish this?
- Group level goals - What can we do to further the mission/charter of the SIG this year?
- Co-chairs will analyze the input of the whiteboarding session and try to come up with concrete next steps for the CA2SIG in 2021
- The board is still open to everybody who missed the session and wants to leave their ideas and profiles there.

- Robin to lead whiteboarding session with the group to identify:
- Generic Design of carbon accounting system
- Christiaan Pauw presented the new page New ideas, debates and discussions
- He and his team will keep on working on this and present progress in the next meeting
- Bret Carpenter highlighted the importance of UIDs
- Contribution campaign around earth day
- Si Chen is preparing a video for a blog post
- Sherwood Moore supports with writing the blog post
- Any additional project that wants to start a little contribution campaign around earth day can directly reach out to Sherwood
- Announcements: Opportunity for Group members to share upcoming events, presentation opportunities, etc.
- Creation of new Climate Research Working Group - thanks Lam Nguyen
- Co-Chair nomination process
- The new chairs of the CA2 SIG agreed on having 1 chair and to co-chairs
- Robin Klemens takes the chair, Sherwood Moore and Peter Clarke take the co-chairs
- Special thanks to Martin Wainstein and Tom Baumann for leading the SIG for the last year as well to David Boswell for all of his support

- Added a new section "How to get involved" with contribution opportunities for technical and non-technical members
- Suggestions from Martin to highlight the "How to get involved" button → Sherwood will take a look at it
- Sherwood will share the Mozilla - Participation Worksheet with the group. He will ask for someone leading a project to volunteer to fill out the form with him

- Kamlesh Nagware presented a project that aims to offset carbon by recycling and reusing plastic
- A question raised by Si Chen: How to monetize the issuing of carbon offsets?
- Research: Who wants to monetize carbon offsets that we can work with?
- Generic Desing of carbon accounting system
- GHG accounting is a special case
- Christiaan Pauw suggested designing a generic accounting system that can be used with comparable metric across SDG
Standards and carbon offsetting
- What standards do apply to the election of carbon offsetting projects?
- Christiaan will reach out to Si Chen and talk about how to leverage standards into this
