Hyperledger Quilt v1.0 is here!

Hyperledger Quilt v1.0, a Java implementation of the Interledger protocol that enables payments across any payment network was recently announced. Much like the Internet did for information, Interledger provides open protocols and standards to enable payments interoperability — across any currency, fiat or crypto — with no single company or organization controlling the Interledger. Instead, by specifying a common set of protocols to follow, the Interledger will consist of a variety of entities and institutions who can decide which other Interledger networks to connect to.

We want to thank PwC for hosting the Hyperledger NY Meetup for blockchain talks and networking at their office. In case you missed Blockchain Week NYC in-person, we encourage you to enjoy Coindesk’s videos of the Hyperledger sessions from Consensus and Construct over lunch one day this week. Control+F (or Command+F) and search for “Hyperledger” for Executive Director Brian Behlendorf’s keynote at Construct or catch the technical introductions to a few projects in the Hyperledger greenhouse. We also recommend Brian’s panel, Herding Cats - The Art of Building Enterprise Consortia.
