Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham is a multi-disciplinary, research-intensive, private university, educating a vibrant student population of over 24,000 by 1700+ strong faculty. Accredited with the highest possible ‘A++’ grade by NAAC.
The Center for Cyber Security was identified by TIFAC (Department of Science & Technology, Govt. of India) as a CORE in Cyber Security in September 2005. The TIFAC-CORE in Cyber Security gives significant thrust to the frontier areas of Cyber Security, including technology, practice, management, and policy issues. This TIFAC-CORE in Cyber Security at Amrita is a collaborative alliance of academic and industrial partners.
We have a Blockchain-Research Interest Group (B-RIG) a closed group initiative by our center from 2022 working towards to educating the young minds about the Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) and contribution through research. In addition, we have Kerala Blockchain Academy Innovation Club (KBAIC) at our university, in the two completed cohorts around 60 students have completed Certified Blockchain Associate (CBA) program, and selected students have completed further level of certifications including Certified Ethereum Developer (CED) and Certified Hyperledger Fabric Developer (CHFD).
