Hyperledger Indy Contributor’s Course

Workshop description:

The second course in the series is a four-hour course that advances your skills related to interacting with Hyperledger Indy nodes and the Indy SDK. It also familiarizes you with commonly used cryptography libraries contained in Hyperledger Ursa and an overview of the Plenum ledger.

Topics will include:

  • Install and build with Indy SDK
  • Introduction to libindy, indycli etc
  • Indy VDR (replacement for Indy-SDK)
  • How to install and build a Hyperledger indy Node
  • Making changes to a node
  • Build and IndyTest the changes locally
  • How to get involved in the community further with chats, helplines, and meetings

Preparation:

Participants must meet the following prerequisites:

  • Linux
  • Install docker
  • Install Indy-CLI
  • Download repos

One of the workshop facilitators will be available to answer any questions regarding the prerequisites during the following times

  • Monday, January 31  6-8am PST
  • Tuesday,  February 1, 10am-1pm PST
  • Wednesday, February 2, 5-7pm PST
