Contributor’s Course

Technical Deep Dive

Workshop description:

The This second course in the a series, is a four-hour course that advances your skills related to interacting coding with Hyperledger Indy nodes and the Indy SDKNode. It also familiarizes you with commonly used cryptography libraries contained in Hyperledger Ursa and an overview of the Plenum ledger.

Topics will include:

  • Install and build with Indy SDKHyperledger Indy Stack overview, including Ursa and Plenum
  • Introduction to libindy, indycli etclibindy 
  • Hyperledger Indy VDR (replacement for Indy - SDK)
  • How to install and build a Hyperledger indy Learning about Hyperledger Indy Node
  • Making changes to a nodeto Hyperledger Indy Node code
  • Build and IndyTest the changes locally
  • How to get involved in the community further with chats, helplines, and meetings

Preparation:

Participants must MUST meet the following prerequisites (detailed instructions MUST be followed):

  • Linux or Mac
  • Install docker
  • Install Indy-CLI
  • Download repos
  • Run tests to verify your setup
  • Sign up for access to the Hyperledger Indy chat channel.
    • This channel will be used for tech support before and during the scheduled training.
