The election process for the Chair and Vice-Chair of the EASIG has now started and is scheduled to finish on at the end of Monday, November 25, 2019.
To vote, please follow these steps:
- Make sure you are subscribed to the group's mailing list (go to the mailing list page and click Join This Group to subscribe)
- Next go to the election poll page and cast your vote

7.3b Election
The first interim Chair of a SIG is nominated by the initial proposer of the SIG and s/he serves for approximately 90 days or up to the first 6 meetings as long as the SIG has active participation and contributors. All future Chairs will be selected through an election process where group members vote.
An EASIG officer shall be elected by membership into position through a simple majority vote, and with Hyperledger leadership approval.
When there are two or more candidates, officer election shall be determined through a plurality vote, and with Hyperledger leadership approval.
