Hyperledger mentorship is no longer limited to those currently enrolled in colleges and universities. However, you must not have significant commitment if you're participating full time from June to August. If you attend school or have other significant commitments such as another job you should consider participating part time expected to contribute on a consistent basis ~ 20 hours a week from June to November.
