  • Focused on the business case - discovering solutions

Retail / Apparel Data Flow Today

  • Typically the data is generated by individual participants, not efficient to share
  • EDI not designed to handle the volume and data to handle the granularity

PoC

  • Compile and analyze the data between participants
  • Every single stakeholder had a different way to communicate data
  • Have the brands chose to identify
  • Retailers decided to remain anonymous
  • Pilot will begin early 2020 - solution providers will be needed

Challenges

  • Prevent cloning of tags
    • Difficult to prevent for QR Code but easier to manage with RFID
